Day 120

Today's words:

Tears
Hazard
Mud
Chapel
Space Station
Bow

I was warned about the tears;
They're an occupational hazard,
Caused by mud
In the eyes. Meanwhile, in the chapel
Of the space station,
The astronaut took a bow

Before the altar.  He made a bow,
And, holding back tears,
He went back to the main deck of the space station.
Always on the look out for a new hazard,
Even when in the chapel.
But there was no mud

In space. He'd rather fling mud
Than bow
Down in the chapel,
But it's not like his tears
Were of any use; they weren't a hazard
To anyone on the space station.

The space station
Had been up there for years, coated in intergalactic mud.
It was certainly a hazard,
And probably time to return.  From the bow,
The captain gave the order, holding back tears,
And wishing he were in chapel.

It was OK to cry in the chapel
Of the space station;
Tears
Weren't a threat there, and didn't put mud
On your reputation. But on the bow
They were a hazard.

They weren't a hazard
In the chapel,
But on the bow
Things were different. This was the space station
Command center: no mud
And no tears

Allowed. But the real hazard on the space station
Wasn't in the chapel, and it wasn't mud.
It was the bow, which had several large tears.
